Polly Cutter is a retired pop singer and session backing vocalist, who first recorded the theme "One Day at a Time",  taken from the family sitcom of the same name.

Biography
In 1975, along with Dave Edwards, she was one of the two new talents that Jeff Barry, the song-writer and producer was recording.[3] Cutter cut her only one single, "Ooh, I'm Satisfied", written by Fred Freeman and Harry Nehls, produced by Jeff Barry, and released on RCA Records. The song did not reach the Billboard Hot 100. Cutter also recorded the theme song to One Day at a Time, titled "This Is It", written by Jeff Barry and his wife, Nancy Barry. While being a solo artist that same year, she sang backup with her friends, Cindy Bullens, Bob Crewe, Jerry Corbetta and the rest of her friends behind Eleventh Hour on "Hollywood Hot", released on 20th Century Records. A year later in 1976, she discontinued as a solo artist from the pop music genre and then became a session backing vocalist for The Ventures, Lisa Hartman and Papa John Creach.In 1979, Cutter retired and left the music industry.
